Stakeholder Engagement & Capacity Building Lead – Transport

About the role

A leading consultancy is partnering with a government on a major transport-sector program in Doha and is looking for a senior Stakeholder Engagement & Capacity Building Lead. The position is onsite or hybrid, on an interim contract of 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement with ministries, transport authorities, operators and private-sector partners
• Design and run workshops, consultations and governance forums to build alignment across entities
• Develop and deliver capacity-building and knowledge-transfer programs so government teams can sustain the program long term
• Lead communications and change management across the program
• Act as a trusted point of contact for senior government counterparts

Required profile

• 10+ years in stakeholder engagement, capacity building, change management or government relations
• Experience delivering programs for transport ministries, government authorities or consultancies working in transport
• Exposure to aviation, maritime, ports, rail, roads or wider transport infrastructure
• Track record of designing and delivering training or knowledge-transfer programs
• Confident working with senior government and regulatory stakeholders
• Willingness to relocate to or work from Doha; Arabic is a strong advantage
