About the role
The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables needed for facility management operations. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely material availability, and compliance with inventory procedures, CAFM systems, and HSEQ standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and store materials, spare parts, tools and consumables.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain organized, properly labelled storage areas.
- Manage inventory records and stock movements using CAFM/Inventory Management Systems.
- Issue materials against approved work orders and requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits and inventory reconciliations.
- Track slow‑moving, obsolete and excess inventory.
- Ensure FIFO compliance and safe storage of hazardous items.
- Support maintenance teams by providing timely material availability.
Required profile
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Technical or Engineering‑related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Experience in facility management, maintenance or technical environments is preferred.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in inventory, warehouse management or supply chain are a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAFM systems and inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management and warehouse operations.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
