Storekeeper

About the role

ViaMed Trading WLL, a trading company based in Doha, Qatar serving clients in the healthcare and related sectors, is hiring a full-time, on-site Storekeeper. The role covers receiving goods, checking delivery documents, storing materials and keeping accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify delivery documentation and unload materials safely into designated storage areas.
• Organize and pack items, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Operate material-handling equipment as needed and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, safe and compliant with company procedures.
• Work closely with procurement, logistics and other internal teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in warehousing, logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
• Previous experience in warehouse, storekeeping or logistics roles, preferably in trading or distribution companies, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Inventory control and management, including stock monitoring, record keeping and reconciliation of physical and system inventories.
• Packing and unloading, handling goods safely and preparing items for storage or dispatch.
• Basic computer literacy, including inventory or ERP systems.
