Strand Jack Operator – Heavy Lift Specialist

About the role

The Strand Jack Operator/Technician will operate and maintain strandjacks and tower‑gantry systems for heavy‑lift projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution at heights of 100 m and above.

Key responsibilities

• Operate strandjacks and tower‑gantry equipment using the control unit.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic interfacing issues.
• Maintain all equipment in ready‑to‑use condition and perform routine maintenance and hydraulic repairs according to technical manuals.
• Execute operations in compliance with internal standards, external regulations and safety procedures.
• Assist supervisors with maintenance tasks and use laptop‑based software for monitoring and reporting.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience operating strandjacks and tower‑gantry systems.
• Willingness to work at heights of 100 m or more.
• Valid local driver’s licence.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of regional transportation regulations.
