Subsea Pre‑commissioning Engineer

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Subsea Pre‑commissioning Engineer to join its Qatar team. You will work within the Subsea Pre‑commissioning Engineering Department, supporting the Pre‑commissioning Manager and ensuring technical integrity throughout project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity and compliance with cost and schedule targets across engineering phases.
• Execute engineering tasks to guarantee product quality and adherence to QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Prepare and revise engineering schedules as required by contract.
• Identify technical issues, make decisions within contractual limits, and define detailed specifications.
• Specify materials and services for engineering tasks within allocated budgets.
• Approve technical designs for purchase or construction and participate in client technical reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of relevant engineering experience, preferably in EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of DNV‑ST‑F101 and API standards.
• Proven ability to work with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Experience in preparing engineering schedules and cost estimates.
