Supply Excellence Specialist

About the role

The Supply Excellence Specialist will design, direct, and implement policies, processes, and procedures for the Supply department at QatarEnergy LNG. Leveraging analytics, new technologies and industry best practices, the role supports corporate objectives and the strategic vision of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse department KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to align with corporate requirements.
• Identify and implement enhancements to supply procedures, evaluating cost‑benefit and risk.
• Lead cross‑functional process improvement projects to deliver best‑in‑class supply services.
• Act as Centre of Excellence focal point during audits, TOFA changes and peer reviews.
• Provide expert recommendations on the QatarEnergy LNG Management System (QGMS) to ensure policy alignment.
• Coordinate with division heads to support strategy execution.
• Perform benchmarking, best‑practice reviews and customer surveys to drive operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, science, economics or a commercial discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and lean techniques.
