Team Leader - Finance

About the role

The Finance Team Leader will support the efficient operation of the Accounting Department at Andaz Doha, aligning daily activities with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards. The role ensures that employee, guest and owner expectations are consistently met while upholding the hotel's values of wellbeing, inclusion, respect, empathy, integrity and experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth and efficient running of all accounting functions within the department.
• Ensure compliance with corporate strategies, brand standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet financial reporting and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Provide timely financial information to management for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Finance, Commerce or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant or Accounting Clerk in a large operation.
• Strong problem‑solving, administrative and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and capacity to multitask effectively.
