About the role
Park Hyatt Doha is seeking an experienced Team Leader for its Stewarding department. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety across all kitchen and food‑preparation areas.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring all equipment, dishware, and workstations are clean and functional.
- Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and coordinate proper storage and usage.
- Implement and monitor hygiene and safety procedures in line with local Health and Safety/HACCP regulations.
- Train, motivate and schedule a diverse team to meet high‑volume service demands.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of stewarding experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a high‑volume hotel, restaurant or catering operation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related degree or certificate is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment, industrial cleaning chemicals, and HACCP standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead a diverse team.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects and work in a hot, fast‑paced environment.
