About the role
Snoonu is seeking an Engineering Lead to own and drive its Conversational AI and Driver Automation platform, covering IVR, multi‑channel chatbots, and a production‑grade multi‑agent AI framework on AWS Bedrock. You will lead a team of AI and Python backend engineers, turning operational SOPs into autonomous, real‑time workflows for drivers in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of 3–8 AI and backend engineers, setting technical standards and delivery cadence.
- Own the architecture, reliability, and cost governance of IVR, chatbot, and agentic AI services on AWS.
- Design and implement the SOP‑as‑Code framework, converting PDF‑based SOPs into machine‑readable policies executed by multi‑agent systems.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cost‑tracking for AI services using Lambda, ECS/Fargate, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, and Bedrock.
- Evaluate emerging LLMs and orchestration frameworks, prototype high‑leverage AI capabilities, and produce technical documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering or related field.
- 6–10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a tech‑lead or engineering‑management role.
- Proven track record of shipping production conversational AI, IVR, or multi‑agent systems end‑to‑end.
- Experience leading small engineering teams and driving technical excellence.
- Strong communication skills to articulate trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.

- Python (async, OOP, FastAPI/Flask)
- AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager
- AWS Bedrock – Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails (Claude Sonnet/Opus)
- Multi‑agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, pgvector)
- IVR/voice bot concepts, STT/TTS pipelines (plus)
- MongoDB, DynamoDB schema design and monitoring
- Docker, CI/CD, Git, automated testing
- Salesforce API integration (plus)
