Technician - ADCP Operations

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Technician for ADCP operations in Doha. The role covers the safe, smooth and efficient operation of the green waste reception hall equipment and the ADCP plant, supporting the Shift Leader and keeping the plant running within its targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the green waste reception hall equipment and ADCP plant safely and efficiently.
• Assist the Shift Leader (ADCP Plant) in his roles and in preparing operation reports and documentation.
• Comply with safe working procedures and the Permit-To-Work system.
• Monitor and control processes, record operations, and carry out routine checks on systems and equipment.
• Carry out front-line maintenance, isolation and normalization of equipment for maintenance, and troubleshoot faults.
• Coordinate with other operation and maintenance sections on S&R plant O&M matters.
• Supervise general workers and sorters, ensure they follow personal hygiene and housekeeping standards, and help attend to plant emergencies.
• Maintain good work culture and discipline during shift duty.

Required profile

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining material recycling facilities (MRF) plants or similar industrial plants.
• Able to work rotating shifts and in a solid waste processing environment.
• Team-oriented, self-driven and meticulous.
