Telecommunications Commissioning Engineer – Offshore

About the role

Lead and execute commissioning activities for a range of telecom and ELV systems on offshore projects, ensuring compliance with procedures, specifications and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system configuration, functional testing, integration and interface checks for CCTV, Access Control, Environment Monitoring, PAGA, VHF/UHF, Networking and OTN systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning, and conduct inspections and testing to verify installations against approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, test reports, punch lists, as‑built records and handover dossiers in coordination with the project team and client.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in telecom and ELV system commissioning, preferably on on‑shore and offshore oil & gas projects.
• Valid TBOSIET and H2S certifications.
