Teller (Qatarization) – Corporate Banking

About the role

QNB is hiring a Teller in Doha, Qatar, within Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions. The incumbent provides cash-based services to customers over the counter in an efficient, courteous and error-free manner. The closing date is 17 September 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out branch cash and other teller transactions efficiently to meet pre-approved branch targets, implement teller KPIs and best practices, and promote cost efficiency.
• Provide cash services quickly and courteously, assist customers with product queries and build strong relationships with customers and group units.
• Process cash, checks, remittance requests, credit card and loan payments in line with policies and regulations, examine checks and authorise transactions within delegated limits.
• Forward clearing items and remittance requests to the relevant group unit, balance cash drawers and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Keep accurate data available for auditors, compliance, financial control and risk, and raise unresolved transaction issues to the Head Teller.
• Stay current with operations, controls and professional developments.

Required profile

• College diploma OR bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, banking, finance, accounting, economics, business administration, information technology or a related field.
• No years of experience required.
