Trading Manager

About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Trading Manager to launch and grow our Consumer Goods Trading Division. The role focuses on creating value through strategic trading, market expansion, and profitable growth rather than traditional procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop the Consumer Goods Trading Division from scratch.
• Identify high‑potential products, brands and market opportunities.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and international trading partners.
• Secure exclusive agency agreements, distributorships and strategic partnerships.
• Design import, export, wholesale, retail and distribution strategies.
• Expand sales channels, dealer networks and customer relationships.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and market‑share expansion.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and pricing strategy development.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, trading terms and supplier contracts.
• Monitor market trends, consumer demand and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare business plans, revenue forecasts and growth strategies.
• Lead and develop commercial and trading teams.
• Report performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in Consumer Goods Trading, FMCG distribution, import/export or commercial management.
• Proven track record of establishing or growing a trading business or product portfolio.
• Strong network with manufacturers, distributors, retailers and wholesalers.
• Experience with international sourcing, import/export regulations and commercial trading activities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale businesses.
• Fluency in English.
