Transportation Dispatcher

About the role

The Transportation Dispatcher supports V2X’s global fleet operations from the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) in Doha. Reporting to the TMP Lead, the role ensures accurate tracking, dispatch, and maintenance of fleet vehicles and material handling equipment (MHE) while delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor vehicle odometer readings, destinations, estimated return times, and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a real‑time system of record for fleet and MHE location, user assignment, and accountability.
• Coordinate dispatch, vendor exchanges, purchase requests, and purchase orders with the Property team.
• Verify employee licences, international permits, and compliance with V2X policies.
• Schedule and arrange servicing, repairs, warranty work, and cleaning for fleet assets.
• Generate maintenance repair orders and issue parts/supplies using Maximo or equivalent systems.
• Validate vendor invoices for services rendered and parts supplied.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in fleet or transportation dispatch.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work under supervision of the TMP Lead and follow established procedures.
