Veterinary Technician / Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Veterinary Technician/Nurse to join Oryx Veterinary Clinic in Doha. The successful candidate will work closely with veterinarians to deliver high‑quality care to a variety of animal patients in a modern, supportive clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations and surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment areas, ensuring sterility and proper equipment setup.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.
• Monitor patient recovery, record observations and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support daily clinic operations, including cleaning, stocking supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate care instructions clearly to pet owners.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital.
• Strong passion for animal welfare and care.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
