Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead a team of over 1,500 staff at Azizi Foods’ catering facility serving Hamad International Airport. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and delivering first‑class service to airline customers.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all departmental heads and oversee daily operations, guaranteeing strict adherence to HACCP, environmental and quality standards.
• Allocate resources across operational areas to meet performance targets, legal requirements and on‑time service delivery.
• Implement waste‑reduction initiatives while identifying new revenue streams.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and expand the customer portfolio through new market strategies.
• Set departmental objectives aligned with overall business goals and regularly review plans, procedures and practices.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and training programs to build internal expertise.
• Ensure comprehensive work health and safety induction, training and supervision for all staff and managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration or a related field; Master’s degree highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in catering, food & beverage, or a comparable industry.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety standards.
