Visual Experience Designer – In‑Flight Entertainment

About the role

As a Visual Experience Designer within Qatar Airways' IFEC (In‑Flight Entertainment & Connectivity) team, you will shape the visual and motion language of the onboard entertainment platform. Your designs will bring the graphical user interface to life, creating immersive, animated experiences for millions of passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead motion design and animation of GUI elements across the IFEC platform.
• Create dynamic assets such as animated menus, transitions, banners, trailers, and interactive interface components.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual motion language aligned with Qatar Airways' brand identity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, technical, and operational teams to optimise motion design for platform constraints.
• Manage the end‑to‑end production lifecycle of motion and GUI assets for delivery and deployment.
• Support broader editorial experiences by producing visually compelling assets that enhance content discovery.
• Liaise with external agencies and motion‑design suppliers, providing clear creative briefs and quality standards.
• Ensure all visual output complies with brand guidelines, cultural sensitivities, and technical requirements.
• Monitor visual performance and iterate based on passenger feedback and engagement data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing motion graphics and animated interfaces for digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating immersive visual storytelling and motion design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
