Vocational Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a Vocational Instructor to deliver high‑quality technical training and contribute to the development of vocational courseware. In this hybrid position you will teach General Engineering and specialty short courses, assess learner performance and continuously improve instructional materials.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging vocational training sessions in line with curriculum and learning objectives.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for general engineering and specialty courses, ensuring up‑to‑date content.
• Develop, revise and maintain lesson plans, presentations, handouts and assessments.
• Utilise modern teaching methodologies and technologies to create interactive learning experiences.
• Collaborate with instructional teams to integrate feedback and improve course design.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to learners, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Assess learner performance according to established assessment strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in vocational education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver technical courseware.
• Experience teaching diverse audiences and adapting methods to different learning styles.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
