Account Manager – Distribution Channels

About the role
The Account Manager is the primary commercial liaison for a portfolio of distribution channel partners. You will own day‑to‑day relationships, drive sell‑in and sell‑out, and ensure partners are stocked, supported, and aligned with brand and category plans.
Key responsibilities
- Own a defined set of channel accounts, delivering revenue, gross margin, and sell‑out targets.
- Develop and execute joint account plans covering range, pricing, promotions, and stock coverage.
- Monitor partner inventory, sell‑through and ageing; trigger replenishment and clearance actions.
- Build trusted relationships with buyers, store teams and decision‑makers, acting as the main interface between partner and client.
- Use data tools (Power BI, D365, dashboards) to track performance, forecast demand and identify opportunities.
- Adopt AI and automation tools for forecasting, reporting, order processing and account analysis.
- Produce accurate sell‑out‑based forecasts and keep CRM, pricing and account records up‑to‑date.
Required profile
- High ownership mindset – takes full responsibility for outcomes and proactively resolves issues.
- Strong learning drive – prepares and studies before acting.
- Comfort with technology, data and AI tools to base decisions on evidence.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills and ability to represent the customer voice internally.
