Accountant – Odoo ERP & Inventory Management

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join Zawaya in Doha, focusing on Odoo ERP and inventory accounting. The role involves accurate data entry, month‑end closing, and supporting the finance team with reporting and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate accounting data entry and process day‑to‑day transactions in Odoo.
• Review entries, identify errors, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with customer and supplier account reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory movements, investigate discrepancies, and support physical stock counts.
• Prepare inventory reports, manage slow‑moving stock, and coordinate with warehouse and commercial teams.
• Support month‑end closing, ensure all transactions are recorded, and generate accounting and inventory reports.
• Extract and review financial and operational reports from Odoo for management and audit purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and inventory accounting.
• Practical experience with Odoo ERP is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
