Accounts Assistant

About the role

Red Castle is seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant to join its finance team in Doha. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting bank and ledger activities, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record transactions promptly in the General Ledger and related sub‑ledgers.
• Prepare banking documents such as deposit slips, letters of credit, payments and cheques.
• Assist with monthly bank and ledger reconciliations, including inter‑unit and sub‑ledger reviews.
• Support inventory and cash verification, as well as fixed‑asset tagging and physical verification.
• Maintain the document management system according to company policies.
• Prepare debit and credit notes for customers and suppliers and send account statements.
• Collect and analyse data timely, communicating with internal and external parties.
• Contribute to departmental goals by improving daily task efficiency and assisting with new‑employee onboarding when needed.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting & Commerce from a reputable institution.
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Age between 22 and 25 years.
• Strong business communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to task execution.
