Adventure Park Technician

About the role

The Adventure Park Technician ensures that all adventure attractions at Banana Island Resort operate safely and reliably. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ropes courses, zip lines, climbing walls, harnesses, and related equipment in line with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre‑opening inspections of all adventure park attractions and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ropes courses, zip lines, climbing elements, harnesses, helmets, belay devices, and associated hardware.
• Inspect structural components, cables, platforms, anchors, pulleys, braking systems and safety devices for operational integrity.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts promptly and document all actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs and service documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, manufacturer recommendations and applicable industry standards.
• Report hazards, equipment defects and maintenance needs without delay.
• Assist with annual inspections, third‑party safety audits and emergency response procedures, including technical rescues.
• Manage workshop tools, spare‑parts inventory and keep work areas clean and hazard‑free.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in adventure‑park or similar equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations staff to minimise downtime.
