Aircraft Mechanic – Machinist (Workshops)

About the role

We are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic – Machinist to join our workshop team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will operate CNC milling, CNC lathe and vertical drilling machines within a certified aircraft maintenance, MRO or parts manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling, CNC lathe and vertical drilling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual programming of CNC machines and set up tooling, fixtures, drilling, boring and honing operations.
• Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals and structure repair manuals to determine repair or fabrication requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, airworthiness and manufacturing instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to produce air‑worthy components.

Required profile

• High School, vocational diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Degree, diploma or licence in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Basic ICAO Type II licence and relevant trade‑related certificates.
• Minimum one year of practical experience in a similar technical workshop, preferably with a recognized airline or MRO.
