Licensed Engineer – Rotary Wing

About the role

The Licensed Engineer – Rotary Wing ensures proper maintenance of aircraft, expedites defect rectification, and performs allocated flying duties. Reporting to the Senior Manager Maintenance‑Rotary, the role also supervises maintenance staff to guarantee safe and on‑time aircraft dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Review work plans, allocate resources and define priorities to maximise efficiency.
• Inform senior management of completed work and potential service disruptions.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation and certifications are completed accurately.
• Prepare and compile technical reports and debrief staff on defect identification.
• Act as the organization representative during subcontracted layovers and support special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent technical apprenticeship.
• Minimum five years experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1, B2 or both) with a Helicopter Maintenance Engineering License.
• Fluent written and spoken English and ability to make clear decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Part‑66 licensed helicopter maintenance engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge of helicopter systems and maintenance procedures.
• Experience performing flying duties as an Operating Engineer.
