Analyst – Cost Management (Contractor)

About the role

The Cost Management Analyst (Contractor) will monitor, analyse and manage organisational costs to ensure financial efficiency and compliance. Based in Doha, the role supports budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis and cost‑optimisation initiatives across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for all cost‑management matters within the assigned function.
• Monitor daily cost activities, track deliverables and coordinate updates with the Head of Section and Finance Controlling Manager.
• Prepare annual cost‑management plans, financial models and supporting analysis.
• Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines and frameworks for cost planning, budgeting and financial modelling.
• Analyse historical and forward‑looking cost and inventory balances to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial information.
• Provide cost‑planning, budgeting and reporting support to management and key stakeholders.
• Conduct ad‑hoc cost analysis, prepare reports for strategic decision‑making and lead monthly cost and inventory review meetings.
• Challenge cost variances, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in cost management, financial analysis or related finance roles.
