Architect – Data Center Design & Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join a leading data‑center design and engineering firm in Doha. The role focuses on creating and delivering architectural solutions for mission‑critical facilities, ensuring they meet operational, technical and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs, layouts and technical documentation for data‑center and mission‑critical projects.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, BIM and engineering teams throughout design and delivery phases.
• Prepare and review concept designs, schematic drawings, design development packages and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, authority requirements and international data‑center standards.
• Support space planning, equipment layouts, access control and operational flow within facilities.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs and technical design changes during execution.
• Assist with site inspections, technical support during construction and hand‑over stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of architectural experience on construction or building projects.
• Proven experience delivering data‑center or mission‑critical facility projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA coordination, technical design standards and large‑scale infrastructure.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Preference for candidates currently based in the GCC.
