Assistant Design Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Design Manager to support the design team at Nabina Group in Doha. The role involves leading design activities across residential, commercial, hospitality, fit‑out, kitchen and wardrobe projects while ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage architects, interior designers and technical staff.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings and project deliverables.
• Establish and maintain design standards across all projects.
• Oversee projects from concept development through construction documentation and site execution.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Ensure design solutions meet objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Review architectural and interior drawings, specifications and material selections for compliance.
• Resolve design and technical challenges during development and execution.
• Attend client meetings, presentations and design reviews; conduct site visits and verify implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, interior design or design management.
• At least 2 years in a Design Manager or Senior Design Lead role.
• Currently based in Qatar with a valid Qatar driving licence.
• Preferably holding a NOC for transfer.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with 3D visualization software.
• Knowledge of Revit (advantage).
