Assistant Finance Manager – Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support our Finance Department in managing the financial operations of our real‑estate portfolio. The role will focus on financial planning, reporting, budgeting and compliance for property‑related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for real‑estate projects, properties and business units.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations and property‑related accounts.
• Monitor financial transactions linked to leasing, rental income, service charges, maintenance and operating expenses.
• Assist in tracking project and property budgets, cash flows and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, accounting standards and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for property and project accounts.
• Analyse property performance, identify variances, cost trends and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to reporting enhancements, process optimisation and strengthening of internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in real‑estate, property management or construction.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and analysis.
• Experience with real‑estate accounting, leasing, rental income and project accounting is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis.
