About the role

Join La Petite Maison’s Doha restaurant as an Assistant Head Sommelier and Sommelier Supervisor. You will mentor the wine team, ensure flawless wine service, and help create memorable dining experiences that reflect the brand’s French‑Mediterranean heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of reference for the sommelier team, coaching and developing their skills.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of La Petite Maison’s food and beverage offerings, with a focus on French wines.
• Design and deliver wine‑pairing training for staff, enhancing guest experiences.
• Take full charge of the sommelier service during restaurant operations.
• Oversee wine inventory, monitor storage conditions, manage stock levels, and ensure secure handling.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of recent experience as a Sommelier in a comparable fine‑dining environment.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong passion for wine, especially French varieties, and the ability to convey that knowledge to others.
