Assistant Reservations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Reservations Manager supports the Director of Revenue Management by overseeing daily reservation operations and ensuring seamless execution of yield strategies, pricing tactics, and distribution controls within a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the reservations team, manage shift handovers, schedules and coach agents on booking procedures and upselling.
• Act as the primary contact for escalated guest inquiries, VIP bookings, group rooming lists and complex reservations.
• Implement daily rate changes, stay controls and inventory adjustments across the PMS, CRS and OTA channels.
• Monitor inventory, over‑booking thresholds and conduct rate‑parity checks to protect revenue.
• Administer channel connectivity, audit market segmentation, origin coding and commission structures.
• Prepare daily pickup, pace and cancellation reports and contribute operational insights in revenue strategy meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel reservations or front‑desk operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience with Opera Cloud is essential.
