Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales in achieving budgeted revenue targets for the hotel in Doha, handling both corporate and leisure accounts and ensuring high occupancy levels.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profit targets by soliciting, selling and confirming group business.
• Prepare proposals with the Director of Sales to maximize profit while meeting guest needs.
• Maintain accurate booking reports and ensure reservations are tracked for statistical purposes.
• Coordinate booked business with other departments and communicate guest requests promptly.
• Conduct on‑site client inspections, entertainment visits and follow‑ups to secure repeat business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a 5‑star or luxury property.
• Proven track record in corporate, leisure and travel‑trade sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and attend client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel sales/CRM systems.
