About the role
The Chef de Partie will lead the bakery section, managing a small team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of baked goods while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook menu items for the bakery section following recipes and HACCP standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and minimise waste.
- Monitor kitchen equipment, report issues promptly, and ensure food safety compliance.
- Assist the Sous Chef in menu development and cost control.
Required profile
- Relevant vocational or tertiary culinary qualifications, preferably with additional trade certificates.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, previously working as a Commis Chef.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Required skills
- HACCP training and basic food hygiene certification.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
