Associate – Government and Public Institutions (Dubai/Doha)

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate to join its Government and Public Institutions practice in the Gulf region (Dubai/Doha). The role involves supporting senior consultants and engagement managers in delivering strategy, operations and policy projects for public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Decompose complex client problems into manageable work streams.
• Plan and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify core issues.
• Draft recommendations and present findings to senior client stakeholders.
• Guide junior consultants, allocate tasks and ensure timely delivery of work packages.
• Collaborate closely with clients to co‑create solutions and support implementation.

Required profile

• University degree with strong academic record.
• Professional experience in consulting, public‑sector projects or related fields.
• Ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in multicultural teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to contribute to a growing practice.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint for presentation development.
• Experience with statistical or econometric tools (e.g., Stata, R) is a plus.
