Azure Cloud Architect & DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect who also excels as a DevOps Engineer. You will own the end‑to‑end cloud platform, design major architectural changes, and operate the pipelines, networking, cost, and security on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the Azure architecture diagram, ensuring it reflects current topology.
• Design and approve infrastructure changes, including container app scaling, database migrations, and multi‑region strategies.
• Manage DNS, Azure Front Door, Cloudflare CDN, Application Gateway, and WAF policies.
• Own Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD templates, container build optimisation, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rollback).
• Implement secret management with Key Vault and enforce naming, tagging, and resource‑group standards.
• Audit Azure spend, produce monthly cost reports, and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure as the primary cloud platform.
• Proven ability to design large‑scale cloud architectures and operate them in production.
• Strong analytical mindset for cost optimisation and performance trade‑offs.
