Banquet Waiter

About the role

Join Pullman as a Banquet Waiter and be part of a dynamic hospitality team that delivers memorable experiences for guests at conferences, weddings and special events. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced hotel environment, ensuring service excellence from set‑up to breakdown.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet venues according to event orders, arranging tables, chairs, linens and service equipment.
• Provide professional food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings and special events.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, following service sequences and quality standards.
• Attend pre‑function briefings to understand event requirements, menus and service flow.
• Liaise with supervisors, kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during and after events.
• Clear tables and reset spaces promptly between courses or events.
• Handle guest requests politely and escalate issues when necessary.
• Adhere to hygiene, health and safety standards and follow hotel grooming guidelines.
• Assist with breakdown and storage of banquet equipment after events.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or Food & Beverage Server in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety and food‑handling practices is an advantage.
