Complex Reservation Agent

About the role

Le Méridien in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a dedicated Reservation Agent to manage guest reservations, changes and cancellations across multiple channels. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring accurate room allocation, clear communication of policies and a seamless booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room type and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about property facilities and services.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system, including special rate codes.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies, appearance standards and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior reservation or supervisory experience required.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Willingness to maintain guest privacy, support team goals and comply with quality standards.
