Branch Service Assistant

About the role

The Branch Service Assistant (BSA) supports walk‑in customers by handling quick‑service requests such as statement printing, QID and CIF updates, card activation, IBAN letters, and issuance of liability or clearance letters. The role also promotes migration to digital channels and enhances overall client experience within a busy branch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with quick‑service transactions while following internal SOPs.
• Manage branch traffic to reduce wait times and improve service flow.
• Promote and educate customers on alternative digital banking channels.
• Refer new business opportunities to branch sales officers.
• Process customer requests and forward them to appropriate officers for further action.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures, policies, and branding standards.
• Monitor application status to meet service delivery standards.
• Identify and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare accurate departmental statements and reports as required.
• Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisors.
