Business Analyst – Retail Banking SME (Temenos Core Banking)

About the role

The Retail Banking SME will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, technical program teams, and vendors involved in the T24/Temenos core banking transformation. The role covers retail banking products and processes, including accounts, deposits, financing, and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with business users, translate requirements into functional specifications, prepare BRDs and review vendor FSDs.
• Perform gap analysis between out‑of‑the‑box Temenos Transact functionality and business needs; serve as primary vendor liaison.
• Document future‑state retail banking processes, align operations with the new Temenos architecture, and define validation and accounting rules.
• Map legacy data to new Temenos modules, define cleansing and validation rules, coordinate data‑cleansing activities, and reconcile migrated balances.
• Support test case preparation, coordinate UAT and day‑in‑the‑life testing, manage defect triage, and assist in resolution discussions.
• Assess change impacts on branch and back‑office operations, develop user manuals, FAQs, SOPs, and participate in Train‑the‑Trainer sessions.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years in large‑scale Temenos core banking transformation or modernization programs.
• Client‑facing Business Analyst/SME experience with Middle East retail Islamic banking.
• Strong expertise across accounts, deposits, financing, and payments.
