Business Development Intern

About the role

This paid internship offers a three‑month opportunity to support a fast‑growing B2B commerce company operating in Qatar and the wider Gulf region. You will work closely with the business development team to identify and engage new customers and partners, gaining hands‑on experience in cross‑border trade.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential customers and business partners.
• Reach out through LinkedIn, email, phone and other channels.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Schedule introductory calls and meetings.
• Maintain outreach lists and follow‑ups.
• Support business development and partnership activities.
• Track outreach and pipeline progress.

Required profile

• Current university student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Trade, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken and written.
• Confident communicating with new people.
• Proactive, organized and eager to learn.
• Interest in trade, logistics, supply chain and business development.
• Familiarity with the Qatar or regional market is a plus.
