Chief Commercial Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the commercial strategy and drive profitable revenue growth for a growing manufacturing and industrial business in Qatar. The role will oversee sales, business development, key accounts, pricing and customer relationships while identifying new markets and opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy, sales plans and revenue targets.
• Lead sales, business development, key account management and customer service activities.
• Expand the customer base across paper, corrugated packaging, egg tray and recycling markets.
• Identify new markets, sectors and business opportunities.
• Develop pricing and discount strategies to improve margins and profitability.
• Lead major customer negotiations, tenders and commercial contracts.
• Build accurate sales forecasts and work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Monitor customer credit, outstanding receivables and collection performance in coordination with Finance.
• Establish sales targets, performance dashboards and regular pipeline reviews.
• Develop and lead high‑performing commercial teams and strengthen CRM and sales processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial, sales or business development roles, with significant senior leadership experience.
• Previous experience as a Chief Commercial Officer, Commercial Director, Sales Director or equivalent senior commercial leader.
• Proven track record of revenue growth, market expansion, key account management and commercial team leadership.
• Strong B2B manufacturing or industrial experience, preferably in paper, packaging, recycling or related industries.
• Experience in the Qatar or GCC market is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
