Cloud Architect (Azure, Hybrid & Multi-Cloud)

About the role

IT-Serve Qatar, an IT service and support provider founded in 2006 and noted as the Middle East's first Cloud Transition company, is hiring a senior Cloud Architect in Doha. The role accelerates cloud infrastructure deployments and modernization, strengthens automation through IaC and DevOps, and provides hands-on architectural leadership for Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Low-Level Designs (LLDs) into executable infrastructure deployment tasks and independently lead cloud infrastructure deployments, collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
• Design and implement scalable, secure and resilient cloud architectures using Azure services.
• Build and maintain automated infrastructure with Terraform, Pulumi and Ansible; set up Azure Landing Zones and enforce governance with Azure Policies and Automation Runbooks.
• Design CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitLab, containerize applications with Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift, and share DevOps best practices.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and API gateways to integrate cloud services with on-prem systems and microservices.
• Provide expert support for Linux systems and troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues in hybrid environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field.
• 5+ years of multi-cloud experience (Azure, GCP).
• Azure certification.
• Proven track record of automating infrastructure and modernizing applications.
• Fluent English as a business language, with strong communication, leadership and cross-functional teamwork skills.
