Commissioning Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Commissioning Engineer will lead commissioning programmes for large‑scale utility and highway projects, ensuring that all systems are inspected, tested and handed over to clients in accordance with KEO’s standards. This role combines on‑site inspections, document reviews and the execution of detailed testing procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Apply KEO’s commissioning philosophy across active projects.
• Create project‑specific inspection checklists and test forms using the master commissioning document library.
• Review project documents for commissioning readiness.
• Conduct construction progress inspections and commissioning inspections.
• Execute commissioning tests following documented procedures.
• Identify abnormal system conditions, determine causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement testing and commissioning plans, method statements, data sheets, criteria and reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction of utilities for major highway projects of complex nature.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
