Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Al Hazm Mall in Doha is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the reliable operation and upkeep of the mall’s facilities. The role is hands‑on, requiring coordination of technicians, prioritisation of urgent issues, and maintenance of high service standards for visitors, tenants and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP, HVAC, AC, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance activities.
• Assign work to technicians, monitor progress, verify completion and keep accurate service records.
• Coordinate preventive‑maintenance schedules, inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
• Oversee laundry, housekeeping, warehouse, gardening and landscaping services.
• Work with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, minimally disruptive operations.
• Monitor equipment condition, spare‑parts inventory and warehouse requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns, escalate major risks and help maintain continuity of mall operations.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in a mall, commercial building or similar facilities environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to lead technicians, allocate tasks, coach team members and monitor performance.
• Experience planning preventive maintenance, handling breakdowns and managing work‑order follow‑up.
• Good coordination skills for housekeeping, laundry, warehouse, landscaping and contractor activities.
