About the role
The Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) will support a national operator on a long‑term offshore contract in Qatar. The position is based onshore and works on a 29‑day on / 27‑day off rotational schedule, with an immediate start date.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and compile commissioning dossiers for offshore operations teams.
- Ensure technical standards and internationally accepted engineering practices are applied during plant and equipment start‑up.
- Oversee safe and effective commissioning of mechanical systems in brownfield modification projects.
Required profile
- B.E. or B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience on brownfield modifications in oil & gas or similar facilities, including offshore work.
- Proven ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
