Civil Engineer Level II

About the role

Worley is seeking a Civil Engineer Level II to deliver civil engineering services for its energy, chemicals and resources projects. The role involves providing technical support, supervision and documentation to ensure designs meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support adherence to engineering standards, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Deliver civil engineering services on time and within budget.
• Conduct studies, analyses and recommend engineering actions.
• Prepare accurate Material Take‑Offs (MTOs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Scope of Work and technical specifications for civil construction sub‑contracts.
• Develop technical documentation for civil material requisition.
• Assist junior personnel and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including the customer.
• Identify and report changes to project scope, coordinate design reviews and interface approvals.
• Support detailed design preparation, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation – or willingness to obtain it during probation.
• Experience in civil/structural engineering for oil and gas projects, both offshore and onshore.
• Background in multi‑disciplinary engineering projects within the same or similar industry.
