Construction Engineer

About the role

The Construction Engineer will coordinate contract execution and enforce Graviton Interiors’ engineering and construction standards at contractor fabrication facilities. Reporting to the Construction Lead, the role works across the project life‑cycle with contractor engineering, site personnel and internal teams to ensure project delivery meets company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical consultancy throughout piping design, engineering and yard fabrication.
• Verify isometric drawings, line lists, material take‑offs, detail and support drawings.
• Review and comment on mechanical engineering deliverables such as PFD, P&ID, HAZOP & HAZID studies, data sheets and layout drawings.
• Ensure all engineering and execution work complies with company norms, standards and contract specifications.
• Review as‑built documentation and construction‑issued drawings for compliance.
• Analyze engineering modifications submitted by contractors and advise on necessary changes.
• Check method statements, technical documents, codes and specifications for tolerances and stresses.
• Monitor prefabrication site activities for quality, quantity and safety.
• Liaise with company stakeholders, project engineering teams and contractors.
• Issue reports on engineering, installation, testing and acceptance activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for contractors on engineering clarifications.

Required profile

• Experience in technical consultancy for piping and mechanical engineering projects.
• Ability to work closely with contractors, site personnel and internal engineering teams.
• Strong attention to detail for reviewing drawings, specifications and as‑built documents.
