Construction Supervisor – Piping (Offshore)

About the role

The Construction Supervisor (Piping) will lead offshore installation activities for engineering disciplines under EPIC contracts. The role ensures safe execution, compliance with engineering standards, and timely delivery of construction milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site construction and installation of piping systems, ensuring safety and adherence to scope, specifications and approved standards.
• Participate in constructability reviews and evaluate contractors' construction plans, method statements and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Coordinate contractor mobilization, issue permits and gate passes, and manage site lay‑down areas.
• Inspect, test and certify completed work, initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates and oversee punch‑list clearance.
• Review and endorse red‑line and “as‑built” drawings, construction dossiers and hand‑over documentation.
• Issue and monitor Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) documents, ensuring contractor compliance.
• Support commissioning activities, including review of procedures and participation in facility start‑up.

Required profile

• Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND), or a Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction and installation within oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience implementing industry best practices, systems, processes and standards.
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
