Contract Specialist

About the role

The Contract Specialist will manage and administer contracts for the EPRS Division, overseeing the full tendering process, ensuring compliance, and monitoring contractor performance. This full‑time position is based in Doha, Qatar, and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and administer contracts for the EPRS Division, including tendering, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance through progress reports, enforce contractual clauses and liquidated damages.
• Produce routine and ad‑hoc reports on contractor KPIs and performance.
• Identify and resolve contractual compliance issues, risks, and bottlenecks, providing mitigation plans.
• Review and analyse contract documents, offering expert comments and insights.
• Suggest improvements to scope of work and technical specifications for future contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years of experience in contract award and administration, planning, control or operations.
• Proven ability to work in challenging, multinational environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Self‑starter with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
