About the role
We are seeking a Cook I to join our hotel kitchen in Doha. The role involves preparing special meals, maintaining food quality, and supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and monitor food logs.
- Pull frozen items for thawing, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
- Communicate with chefs and service staff about menu specials, excess items and out‑of‑stock items.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of related culinary work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
