About the role

Join Marriott International’s kitchen team in Doha as a Culinary Intern. You will work alongside experienced chefs, learning the fundamentals of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety while contributing to daily service. This role offers a hands‑on environment to develop your culinary passion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Cook and plate menu items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Test foods for proper preparation, temperature, and presentation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, storage containers, and equipment.

Required profile

• Strong teamwork skills and keen attention to detail.
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Required skills

• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and hygiene standards.
